The mean time spent was 10 hrs, the median time 9 hrs and the mode 7 hrs. The standard deviation in time spent was 5 hrs.

Note that aside from the cluster of students spending beyond 15 hours, the distribution is close to what is expected from a 5-0-7 course.

I am concerned about the group above 15 hours. Spending beyond 15 hours is an indication that the student should seek some specific help and probably just needs a few hints to stay on track. I am happy to provide such assistance. My office hours are on Tuesday afternoons from 3:45--whenever it takes.
