Slow change

``Slowly,'' you allow the box to open, allowing the wall on the right to move from x=L to x=2L. How much work, on average, is done by the particle during this process? As a function of L, what force does the electron impose on the wall of the box?

Hint: If the box opens very slowly, the particle always stays in the lowest energy state available to it. Remember that energy is conserved.
