Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle

In an imaginary series of experiments, drinking glasses of mass M are placed carefully within a distance of the center of a frictionless and perfectly flat and horizontal table of length L. It is found that, ``mysteriously,'' even the most carefully placed glasses eventually fall off of the table after some characteristic time T. (See Figure 2.)
